WOMEN’S MISSIONARY SOCIETY (WMS)
Mission & Focus
As followers of Christ, the Missionaries of Emmanuel are called to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in our local church, the community, and the world.  We are called to discipleship and to grow in knowledge and experience of God through Jesus Christ.  We are committed to support the mission of the church, and, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are challenged to help and encourage others to engage in ministry and action as we grow and respond in faith to God’s redemptive plan for the church, the community, and the world.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Mission & Focus
Provide spiritual support for the women of Emmanuel, and those in our community. To encourage and strengthen every woman’s faith in Christ by serving and caring for one another and leading other women to Christ Jesus through fellowship. Ministry is designed to develop sisterhood and relationship with our sisters in Christ, encourage and strengthen the use of prayer in our daily lives. Provide accountability of being fellow servants to one another and teach our young women the joy of being a Christian.

YOUNG PEOPLE’S DIVISION (YPD)
Mission & Focus
The Young People’s Division (YPD) of the Women’s Missionary Society provides meaningful youth training programs and opportunities for leadership experience in all areas of Church life. By providing specific training in Evangelism, Christian Social Relations and Education programs the YPD is designed to connect youth more fully to the mission of the Church and increase knowledge of the African Methodist Episcopal Church History and the Scriptures.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
Mission & Focus
To build a ministry based on the foundation of God’s Word. The Young Adult Ministry serves to foster and build relationships for young adults ages 21-41, as they explore their purpose, cultivate their relationship with God and study the Word through fun, faith and fellowship.
