  • Our Official Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. An email will be sent out with the Zoom link.
  • Our Father’s Day Recognition will be held on Sunday, June 21st during our 11 AM worship service and at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast. We are asking that everyone be in worship service, and especially Fathers, Mentors, and young men. 
  • Our Leadership Conference (Training Advance) will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Emmanuel. All ministry leaders are asked to be present.
  • Our first quarterly conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 8:00 P.M. via Zoom. The link will be sent out at a later date. All members are asked to make plans to attend this meeting to welcome our new Presiding Elder.
  • Mount Hope Baptist Church, 1653 Brooke Road, Stafford, VA 22554 will observe its Annual Auxiliary Day on June 7, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Everyone is invited.
  • Restoration Ministry will celebrate its 20th Church Anniversary on June 20, 2026, with a banquet and on June 21, 2026, with a worship service here at Emmanuel AME Church.
  • The Capital District Church School Convention will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2026 at 8:45 a.m. on the campus of Union Bethel AME Church, located at 6810 Floral Park Road, Brandywine, MD 20613. Everyone is encouraged to attend for a time of fellowship, food, and fun for all ages for the entire district.

  • Our Emmanuel Family Time Hour will be held each Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. via ZOOM. This is our time of prayer, study, and fellowship together as a Church family. Everyone is asked to please join the meeting.
  • Our Thurman Brisben Feeding is held every 3^rd Sunday of each month at 7:00 A.M.  (Please arrive by 6:45 A.M.) Volunteers are always welcome! Please contact Sis. Lattreta White to sign up.
  • Our Praise Team rehearsal is held each Thursday at 7:00 P.M. at the Church.
  • Our Evangelism, Witnessing, and Outreach Ministry invites everyone to help win souls for the Lord.
  • Volunteers are needed to help with our Bread of Life Food Pantry and Clothes Closet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively. Please help us minister to the community’s needs!
  • Everyone is encouraged to maintain their Christian stewardship in 2026 by giving tithes, offerings, and benevolence, and by making sacrificial offerings consistently throughout the year.

 The word “THRIVE” conveys a general sense of effort, diligence, and earnest endeavor in pursuit of a goal. It suggests not merely attempting but earnestly working towards something significant, often with a spiritual or moral implication.
