Announcements

     

    • Rev. Dededrick Rivers is the Presiding Elder of the Capital District. We welcome him and look forward to working with him in the years to come.
    • Our Steward Ministry meeting is Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. via Zoom.
    • We will celebrate the National Day of Prayer on May 7, 2026, at 12:00 Noon and 7:00 P.M. at the Church. Please make plans to attend.
    • Our first quarterly conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 8:00 P.M. via Zoom. The link will be sent out at a later day. All members are asked to make plans to attend this meeting to welcome our new Presiding Elder.
    • We will celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10, 2026, during our morning worship service.
    • Our 8:00 A.M. worship service will resume on May 17, 2026. Please help spread the word!!
    • Our Church Conference will be held on May 17, 2026, after our morning worship service, to elect Trustees and appoint Stewards for 2026-2027. Please attend this meeting.
    • We are currently making plans to celebrate our Memorial Day service on Sunday, May 24, 2026, during our morning worship service. Please contact our Church Office to participate.
    • Volunteers are needed as we go into our new Conference Year to support our various ministries. Please contact our Church Office or any of our ministry leaders and let them know that you are ready to “Get involved!”

Weekly Activities & Events

    • Our Emmanuel Family Time Hour will be held each Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. via ZOOM. This is our time of prayer, study, and fellowship together as a Church family. Everyone is asked to please join the meeting.
    • Our Thurman Brisben Feeding is held every 3rd Sunday of each month at 7:00 A.M.  (Please arrive by 6:45 A.M.) Volunteers are always welcome! Please contact Sis. Lattreta White to sign up.
    • Our Praise Team rehearsal is held each Thursday at 7:00 P.M. at the Church.
    • Our Evangelism, Witnessing, and Outreach Ministry invites everyone to help win souls for the Lord.
    • Volunteers are needed to help with our Bread of Life Food Pantry and Clothes Closet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively. Please help us minister to the community’s needs!
    • Everyone is encouraged to maintain their Christian stewardship in 2026 by giving tithes, offerings, and benevolence, and by making sacrificial offerings consistently throughout the year.

 The word “THRIVE” conveys a general sense of effort, diligence, and earnest endeavor in pursuit of a goal. It suggests not merely attempting but earnestly working towards something significant, often with a spiritual or moral implication.
