Mission & Focus
The Emmanuel AME Church Christian Education Ministry is dedicated to providing training and resources for the Official staff, Ministerial staff, Administrative staff, and the entire Congregation; we desire to build up the Body of Christ by developing the spiritual, emotional and social lives of all. To see every teacher, officer, and leader of Emmanuel AME Church actively participating in Sunday School and other educational events that promote Spiritual Growth, Positive Leadership, Christian Fellowship, and Worldwide Christian Education.
- To provide structured and informal classes for all ages.
- To encourage all officers, teachers, leaders, and members to participate in formal training on a continuous basis.
- To assist each Ministry in training/workshops for its members.
- To ensure that every ministry has access to specific resources.
Shall make careful study of the Christian education needs of the local Church & the means for meeting these needs… (b) It shall see that the Church School, Allen Christian Fellowship, Young People’s Division, missionary members and all their authorized classes, departments and groups are supplied with adequate & appropriate literature and proper equipment prepared and approved by the Division of Christian Education.
